Lovely wide pot depicting Staithes beach on the front and looking out to sea on the reverse. 
I've painted this view many times on canvas, and I've been making pottery as an alternative medium. It's very different painting on clay. I use underglazes on my bisque ware and paint with vibrant colours in my loose style, then clear glaze is applied and the piece is fired again.
