Before you get out of breath climbing the beautiful Steep Hill in Lincoln there is this bit which is called 'The Strait'. It's the beginning of the cobbled old streets leading up the the Cathedral and home to little independent shops and restaurants.
I've been making these little hand pulled limited edition screen prints of Lincoln using my favourite expressive colours. I finish with a top layer printed as an overlaid line drawing, and flashes of bold vibrant colour, like the pink windows and signs.
